Energy Systems Therapy: A dynamic new approach to integrating the realms of the human energy systems with psychotherapy

This workshop will include practical techniques to determine the nature of energetic process in a client together with techniques to make a real difference in their life. It will also include applicable hands-on skills to energetically adjust the ecology in which an energy psychologist works and offer practical techniques to combat burnout by applying understandings of the energy worlds. In this breakout session you will also learn practical techniques to see and feel the human energy field directly for yourself. David Price Francis, MA is a transformational coach in the dynamics of inter-personal relationships and self-development. He is a gifted and charismatic teacher on the meaning of spiritual growth, interpersonal relationships, esoteric history, planetary change and the unseen worlds of natural energy. Wendy Ludlow, LCSW is an approved provider for the Association for Play Therapy and has presented at national and international conferences. She regularly presents workshops and lectures on play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. She co-authored a chapter on group play therapy in Short Term Play Therapy. She made a TV appearance on The Jon Stewart Show as a special guest in 2008, and has been interviewed by local TV stations.

Intuitive Eating with Energy Psychology

This workshop is for people dealing with weight and eating issues, as well as those providing professional support to them. After watching presenter Dawson Church demonstrate EFT to her annual professional conference, the president of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) described it as “the most innovative new treatment to appear in the eating disorder field in the last 15 years.” Studies show that about 80% of eating disorders are associated with emotional problems such as anxiety and depression. Eating disorders, which include yo-yo dieting, binge eating, cravings, obsession with the “right” foods (orthorexia), anorexia and bulimia, often have their roots in unmet emotional needs. This practical workshop embodies the lessons learned in two scientific studies of EFT for cravings, as well as teaching you how to hear the subtle signals of your intuition. It includes group EFT focused on cravings, the emotional roots of eating disorders, media depictions of stereotypes, childhood emotional traumas, blocks to your ideal body weight, and blocks to intuitive eating.
