Symptoms as Metaphors: Every Illness Tells a Story
Larry Burk, MD, CEHP

Autoimmune conditions and other illnesses sometimes manifest as symbolic diseases where the symptoms seem to correlate directly with the patients’ life stories. These somatic metaphors can be explored using intuitive imagery exercises and Chinese five element theory, and the underlying emotions can be addressed with EDANVIR tapping.

Dr. Burk specializes in MRI, acupuncture, hypnosis and EFT. He learned EFT in 2002 and completed ACEP certification in 2010. His publications include EFT for stress-related symptoms after motor vehicle accidents and Let Magic Happen: Adventures in Healing with a Holistic Radiologist.

Mindfulness-Based Energy Psychology for Trauma
Fred Phillip Gallo, PhD, DCEP

Mindfulness-Based Energy Psychology (MBEP) is an easy shift in therapeutic attitude that integrates well with Energy Therapies and elevates treatment effectiveness. The workshop demonstrates MBEP for trauma, provides details about trauma/PTSD, and covers a number of uniquely effective concepts and techniques.

Dr. Gallo is author and co-authored of eight books including Energy Psychology, and Energy Tapping for Trauma. He was the first psychologist to publish professional books on energy psychology, for which he coined the term. He offers training worldwide.
